I finally got around to registering for the Austin AWT chapter's annual Women's Business Conference 2009, which is one of my 'must attend' annual events. It's not that pricey, and the networking and swag are well worth it.  AWT's events were rather lacking in the end of 2008, but they're picking up again, which makes me happy. I like their events.  It's the last Friday in February, and if you're a woman in the Austin area, I highly recommend it.

Another popular conference is the McComb's Women in Business Leadership Conference,happening the week before. I was getting nervous about the event actually happening, as registration isn't open yet, and I don't see sponsors listed.  But I just heard from the VP of Logistics that registration is opening beginning of next week. Phew.  It's a good conference, and it's free.
