Talks and More Talks

Early this afternoon, I was down at TX State to see the presentations on Media campaign projects a class was doing on our job fair. I was very impressed, lots of web2.0 considerations. They've saved me hours of work.

This evening, I gave the first of two workshops on Job Fair prep for the local PMI chapter, this on on  "Your Career Tool Kit" and integrating web2.0 tools with classic job seeker tools to manage and grow your career, and be prepared for opportunities.

I was a little nervous when I realized I left my notes at home, but thankfully, despite some initial nervousness, I found my groove, and it went very well.  By the end people were asking questions and making their own suggestions, and it felt good.  The survey results were pretty great, too.  And someone saved me a lemon bar.

The second workshop is in two more weeks, on project management resumes. But for now, I'm exhausted, so it's time for bed. I have two conference calls in the morning.
