The Career Tool Kit
Tuesday August 6th, 7:00pm to 9:00pm
“Fortune favors the prepared.”  Relying on your skils alone will shut you out of opportunities in today’s sophisticated market.  Learn basic and advanced tools that will serve you throughout your career.  We’ll ditch the elevator pitch, talk C.A.R. stories, and learn detective techniques to help you take charge of job searches and help you proactively manage your career using basic techniques and Web 2.0. 

Project Management Resumes
Tuesday August 20th, 7:00pm to 9:00pm
Is your resume last updated last century?  Are you putting your life story on your resume?  Is your resume creating barriers for you? Learn what a resume is really supposed to do for you, common mistakes that are sending your resume to the slush pile, project management specific resume tweaks, and more.  Expect to work on your resume during this workshop. 


I've scheduled them for 7-9pm so people have time to get at least a quick meal before the workshops, but we'll be serving refreshments during the event so people have a chance to use sugar rushes for good.
