Precision Questioning and Answering Revisited: PQ&A and Job Seeking
I've meant to be more active on this blog the last few days, but with the contract ending soon, and the PMI Job Fair planning gearing up, I've been very busy.
But I have to say, while I already realized it beforehand, Precision Questioning and Precision Answering are an important part of the job seeker's tool kit. I've actually drafted a two hour workshop on the Job Seeker's Tool Kit, to be delivered to the Austin PMI chapter in August, and that's just kept the hamster on the wheel of my brain running at full speed.
And that's just the tip the proverbial iceberg. I think I need to get dinner now.

- You have to be able to articulate precisely what you want (so you don't waste everyone else's time - or your own)
- As a job seeker, you need to be able to develop probing questions of your own for interviews
- As a candidate being interviewed, you need to be prepared to answer probing questions.
And that's just the tip the proverbial iceberg. I think I need to get dinner now.
