On Thursday, another LPJC BOD member and I drove down to San Marcos to see student presentations on a class project, Launch Pad Job Club.  Their instructor, an alumn member of LPJC, chose LPJC as the non-profit to benefit from her students efforts.

It was fun to see the ideas and the creativity that went into their proposals. Some of the groups were good at working creatively with the budget we gave them. We got to share our experience with the rest of the board at our meeting today, and now we have the difficult decisions of picking a winner.
