We're getting close to kicking off the second annual Austin PMI Job Fair, which is a spin-off event of the annual Professional Development Day (PDD), a day of breakout sessions to help Project Managers stay current and brush up their knowledge and skills. This year again, I'll be the Job Seeker Liaison. 

If you've been reading this blog, you'll remember the Job Seeker's Tool Kit which I developed as part of that Job Fair.   This year I'll either organize or run a resume workshop and a "make the most of job fair" workshop. 

Last year, it was a lot of fun and I worked with some fantastic people.  I've learned the value of volunteering from it; I helped an organization I support, helped the members, and made friends. It's all good.
