Latest LinkedIn Feature Changes

Yeah, I know I could easily rename this blog as LinkedIn Central. But anyway... two new things to point out, especially to LPJC folks (who need to comment on here, and not just face to face, thanks. hint, hint.  Look at that comment button. Use it, it's my friend. ).

Who has viewed my profile? now shows how many times your name has come up in search results.  they've also now made seeing a full list of who's looked at your profile a premium feature. But you can still see some of them without spending more money.  And it's nice to know some of the folks who have gotten my resume this week used the link to my LinkedIn profile.  One within a couple hours of me sending the resume.  Makes me feel wanted. Or at least interesting.

People you may know: They've finally added a way to see possible connections you need to make. It's got a list of five people I worked with that are connections of my connections.  I'll probably not connect with them because I either don't know them that well, or I don't want to know them better, but it's nice to see that LinkedIn is helping me find ways to build connections.  And I just tested it, it updates really quickly.  Five new people are there right now, after I changed page views and went back to the home tab.  That's both cool and annoying. I saw a name on there that I thought I should connect to, went back, and it's a whole new list! It looks like it refreshes each time you go back to the home tab, but it doesn't necessarily use completely new names.
