LinkedIn Wishlist #2

Nudge Feature. Live Journal has this for nudgint too quiet friends.  Wouldn't this be cool on LinkedIn, to nudge your friends about updating their profiles when you know they have a new job, or when you want to recommend them, but the position isn't listed, etc.?

And a better interface for mobile device viewing would be nice as well.

Other ideas at A LinkedIn Wish List which posted last week.

[EDIT, Next Morning]  I'd also like to see when people use my connections to connect to someone else.  Three people in my network have all connected to a long lost former coworker after I connected with him.  I like knowing I helped people connect.

Yes, that would be a cool feature. Just don't make it "poke" like on Facebook. Being new there, it took me a while to decide if I really dared to even poke someone or not.

I have to admit, I haven't used Facebook.  I've looked at it a couple of times, and it feels too much like MySpace to me, and I'm not much of a fan of that site, either.  I know this sounds like a Playboy excuse, but I only use MySpace for the calendar feature, and even then, not very often.

I would except a nudge feature on LinkedIn would work only with those you are immediately connected with. They seem to focus on 'mutual acceptance' so that would make sense to me.

      Thanks for the comment!
